Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a political contributor for CNN from 2017 to 2020. Psaki started her career as an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and was later elected governor of Iowa. Psaki became John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki also worked as director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as press secretary for Obama's reelection campaign for 2012. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. There was speculation that she was to replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, at the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications, and she was there until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
