Barbara Ann Corcoran
Barbara Ann Corcoran was born on March 10 1949. She is an American investor and speaker as well as consultant. The Corcoran Group is a New York-based real estate brokerage. In 2001, the company was transferred to NRT at $66 million. Corcoran resigned from the company within a short time. Corcoran was one of the original Shark Tank investors. She has appeared in every season of ABC's Shark Tank. Corcoran had signed 53 contracts until February, 2020. The biggest deal she signed was her investment of $350,000 in Coverplay with a 40% stake. Corcoran was born in Edgewater (New Jersey) as the second of ten children in a Catholic Irish working class family. Florence Corcoran was Florence's mom and was a homemaker. Edwin W. Corcoran Jr. his father was a skilled worker throughout Corcoran's childhood. Sometimes, her family depended on food delivery for free from a local, friendly grocery store. Corcoran remembers her father as an intoxicated man who would sometimes treat her mother with disrespect and disrespect, particularly after he had been drinking. Corcoran was a struggle in school and later learned that she had dyslexia. Corcoran started the high school system in St. Cecilia High School Englewood following her departure from her Catholic elementary school. Corcoran was fluent in several courses her freshman year. She transferred to Leonia High School and graduated with a grade of D.
